Specifically you need to win more than 50% of games.

as you play more games, in solo que, the people you are pitted against will start to get closer to your own skill level as the match maker starts figuring out where you fit in.

an other trick is to que with a friend who you know is better then you, this will cause the match maker to, i believe, average your skills together when finding the other team. making them harder then the people you normally face but weaker then the people your friend would encounter if he solo qued.

I have been playing at a silver level since I was level 25. Even now when I'm lvl 30 (haven't started ranked yet) I am still going up against silver players, but I usually don't lose lane (assuming I am mid because I main mid) and I really haven't palyed anyone harder. I have played against several gold players, and only lost to one. But because I wasn't really winning anymore games I didn't get matched with someone who had a similar skill level to me.

Well, I looked around my matches specificlly the people I played against I noticed I'm playing with and against Bronze, huh thats rather peculiar after 5 straight losses I kid you not, I'm now matched up with and against silvers weird, I thought losers were suppose to be pit against people of lower tier I dont even know what happened and how, wonder what harm there would be if Riot revealed how their system worked
