Hi guys. I just have a quick question, I am almost to gold 5, and I plan to help a friend out with that account. But I don't perform as well when I duo with people, so I am asking, will I go back to silver if I lose too much?
You can but you need to lose a ton of games for that to happen. I think your mmr needs to drop to that of a silver V or bronze 1 before it demotes you back to silver.
You can be demoted (even between divisions) for losing a TON, but its not big threat if you dont stay at 0 lp in gold 5 constantly HOWEVER be careful of lp decay, last season it demoted me back into bronze when I stopped playing ranked :/
You have a five "Grace games" before you can get demoted.
losing five games simultaneously @ 0 lp losing three games simultaneously @ 0 lp, win one, lose another (making you back to 0 lp), then lose two
