First Champ to buy

Hello.

I want to buy my first champ but I don't know who. I have 5000 IP. I am pretty new at this game, just lvl 10 and I've played with Garen, Cho, Ashe, Ryze, Kennen, Brand, I like to play with Ashe, Ryze, Kennen. Brand. Based on my XP probably I don't need a Fighter / Melee champ... so I am looking for a long ranged, cc, high damage abilities and EASY to play. Probably a Mage or Support. I know, I know, everyone has there own opinion but based on what I've told you maybe we can find some good candidates. ... and please explain your suggestion.

Thank you. I really appreciate it.

Ranged mage with CC: Lissandra Ranged Support with CC: Janna or Morgana

Lissandra is a lot of fun to play and is really easy to pick up. She has a good escape and a very strong ultimate that can tip teamfights. He pick potential is high and she gets relatively tanky. She was one of my first mages I bought and she's been one of my favorite to play up to now (2 years later)

Janna is a bit trickeier to play properly but once you get the hang of her, your ADC will love you. She is a disengage focused support meaning your abilities are used to get enemies away from you while you carry does the damage.

Morgana is infamous for the Q, a 3 second snare that pretty much gets anyone killed if you can land it. Her abilities focus on locking down a single target and bombarding them with lots of AOE damage. Her ultimate is huge in teamfights when combo'd with zhonya's hourglass. She's really easy to play and has big impacts on games if you use her properly.

Those are my picks, have fun on the rift!

Hmm...if your looking for an easy support/mid, I'd say that **Annie, Karma and Lulu **are all pretty easy.

Annie is a mage that deals a lot of damage. Her abilities are very straightforward and easy to use, like her Q, which is a point and click damage ability! She also has a bear named Tibbers she can use during her ultimate, which is very unique to her.

Karma can be played as a mage or a support. She does have one skillshot, but it is pretty easy to land. Karma is what I like to call a generalist...she does everything remotely decently, but doesn't have a major strength. The cool part about Karma though, is her ultimate called 'Mantra'. Mantra enhances one of her abilities, making it have additional effects.

And finally, Lulu is a support that can also be played as a mage. Lulu has 3 point and click abilities and some of the most crowd-control in the game (a slow, polymorph and a knock-up), so she will always be useful even when she is behind. Lulu doesn't deal a lot of damage, but her abilities do a lot of things. I'd say Lulu is a good champion if you want to learn about decision-making.

Annie costs 400 IP, Karma costs 3150 IP and Lulu costs 6300 IP, so you may not be able to get Lulu unless you get a little more IP :)

I'd get Annie. She can go mid or support, she is very cheap, her kit is simple and effective. She teaches you basic combos as well as proper last hitting, and because she has no escape you won't be failing to learn proper positioning because your first champion has a crutch.

Long Ranged, CC, and High Damage? Mage or Support? Annie.

  • Her passive makes it so after using 4 abilities the next offensive ability will stun (There's the CC)
  • You can AoE Burst and Stun by summoning her bear - Tibbers which chunks HP almost instantly esp. on squishies (High-Damage)
  • She's a long-ranged champion melee wise, and her Q has a good range so when you have your stun up you can zone enemies! (Long-Range)

With her stun you can go support or go mid to decimate your opponent with a simple Tibbers Stun + Q + W combo with Ignite to secure the kill. If you get fed enough grab a Rod of Ages. Played against a fed Annie and the tankiness made it all the more harder to kill her!

She's also really cheap and easy to play as after the first two games or with one game worth of practicing. Good luck! Annie
