Why is this game so focused on Assassin's and why are tanks in such a bad place? Why is over 50% of the champ base hardly ever picked? Why is jungling such a damn chore? Why is Elise so damn bad and so damn fun? Why grind to diamond? This game is terribly unrewarding now. I should just learn an assassin huh?

This seems like a pretty good opportunity for me, as I've been trying to get feedback from some of the diamond/plat players I get it norms games.

I've also sent you a friend request, since you were kind enough to make that offer (I really appreciate this, btw.)

I guess I'll start by saying that I've been a regular player since sometime during season 2. That being said, however, only recently have I actually taken any interest in paying more attention to what separates the decent players from the great ones. I've noticed a few things that I think have really helped, but I can't honestly say what I'm still missing as a player, perhaps it's simply a matter of experience.

So let's see where I might need some help:

1: While I do understand the importance of map awareness, I find myself having a difficult time simply REMEMBERING to check the map. I know you should probably check every 5/10/15 seconds, but for the life of me, I just can't remember to keep doing it. How might I work on remembering to look around for the potential gank coming my way?

2: Lane bullies. I tend to go for champions that have a relatively weak early game for a stronger mid/late game. One that I am particularly fond of atm is Azir . I love just about everything about this champion, and have been trying to get as much experience with him as possible. One of the biggest problems that I've noticed with him is that, in addition to having a very difficult time killing champions (at least for me), he also has a huge issue with being forced out of lane if you're up against a lane bully that manages to get you low enough that you just can't go up to cs your minions without them outright killing you.

So my second question is this: Suppose you're a mid laner, and your champion of choice has a hard laning phase that causes you to get bullied out of lane (Ex. You and your opponent are lvl 4-5 and he has about 500 hp, while you have maybe 200). The wave is roughly in the middle of the lane and your jungler doesn't want to help you (happens to me almost every game). What do you do? Do you just recall and forfeit some of the cs because you'll just die if you try to get them anyway?

3: When exactly is it a good time to do baron? It seems like you want to go for it if you or your team:

  • Has killed their jungler or any good skirmish champs on the enemy team without dying

  • Has applied a ton of pressure on the map that almost guarantees that they won't try to stop you, or else they'll risk losing towers/inhibs while they try to stop you or outright lose the game if they should all die

  • Knows for certain that it isn't warded and can kill it without the enemy team knowing Is this the right mentality for baron? Is there anything you can add on the subject?

4: If you are jungling, at what point and for what reasons would you counter-jungle? I know very little about the subject, and I am reluctant to do it because I feel that if I end up dying in the enemy jungle it could really screw my whole team over.

5: Do you have any advice about last hitting that you can share? Maybe you have a few tips that can help in lane?

That's all I have for the moment

Thank you in advance for your help :)
