How to not be banned at silver ELO.

Don't play.

There is nothing I am able to do to avoid getting reported, and mods in Riot are going gun happy banning people. I'm never xenophobic or homophobic, and I NEVER INTENTIONALLY LEAVE. I honor pick order and fill when I am needed. I even try to appease those that try to squirm out of filling a role they are uncomfortable (BAD) with by offering to trade. I have nearly every champion to accommodate them.

I've been getting reported on a consistent basis for "Verbal abuses" such as -

Buy a sightstone
Please react to teammates that are pinging near you
Play defensively
Look at the minimap
Please follow up

Being a season 2 veteran doesn't help me do anything because of the constant influx of new level 30's, and even while everyone is trying to adjust to the preseason patch, it seems like some people leave all common sense out of playing this competitive game. If I AM sarcastic, if I DO have a "pearls before swine" attitude toward anyone, then I understand what you mean, but seriously it is still a game that people play over the internet, from their homes. If all I am to Riot is another lonely whale, then their company can go to ruin for all anyone cares. If some of these players don't mature then I'm off to do more mature activities myself, and I'm not about to have a tantrum when people ask me to clean up after myself and not go ham feeding the enemy.

If I have to teach everybody how to play the game - EVERY GAME, then it's not worth it. I'm sorry, the champions in your game are a lot of fun, but the anti-fun elements are coming at me from too many angles.

Kinda sucks but you pretty much have to basically say nothing and make no suggestions on people builds. It's dumb that people are so sensitive to criticism. But if someone doesn't know how to play their position there's not much you can do about it, you just have to worry about your own gameplay.

If i see supports not buying sightstone, ill just buy wards myself even as adc. Or at the most ill say something general like "we need more vision"

I lost my gold reward for basically the same reason...with the changes in jungle and mana regen and the new "leave buster system"...looking for alternatives to league of legends.

Thoughts?

Honestly OP, I think me and you are in the same boat.

And the boats name is the U.S.S 'My LoL game knowledge greatly outweighs my mechanics and my temper'

I really do feel ya though. There are some just simple choices that I think are, if not standard, highly recommended routes of play and item progression.

Problem is...you just can't. You can't teach everyone.

There may not be an ELO hell...but...yeah.

Just had an amazing idea.

Instead of playing in lower brackets and working your way up. Why don't they have you start in harder brackets and work your way down?

why are you playing "ranked" at all with that mentality at all? just play normals... really, tired of hearing the argument, "it's just a game"... i play ranked to WIN, if i wanted to play just because, i would play normal.

The simple fact is that the majority, the vast majority, like high 90's % of people, never face any penalties from Riot. So you need to own up to your behavior and realize that you probably aren't saying "Play defensively" in the innocent manner you are presenting. You're probably chewing out your teammate for feeding with a barrage of insults, telling people "you're done", threatening to quit, etc. Take a long look in the mirror and adjust your behavior and you'll do fine. Living in denial isn't going to help you.
