Can someone give me tips on Katarina? Anything Aprreciated

Here's some legitimate pieces of info:

Before level 3 use Q to poke an enemy down/farm. Don't try to proc the charges on your Q on the enemy champion as the damage you take will not be worth the damage you give. Try to use E to dodge a skill shot/jump on their face. Wait until they send a skill shot your way then Jump onto them then combo them. Early game you want to get in and get out. Shunpo gives a small window where you take reduced damage. Sinister steel gives a short speed boost. This should tell you that Katarina does not like long engages. She would rather go in, poke, and get out. Upon hitting level 6 try to roam bot lane and pick up some kills/assists. Hopefully you have bought some AP prior to doing this. Buy wards. Keep a ward handy at all times. Katarina is one of only 3 champions in the game with a ward hop mechanic. Abuse this. Throw a ward over a wall, shunpo onto it to either travel faster or escape an unfavorable situation. Know proper positioning in a team fight. Katarina is horrible at engaging but once a fight has been engaged Katarina is one of the best at mopping up the fight. Luden's Echo can be useful for the early game, but hextech revolver gives you some much needed sustain as well. Rabadons is a rare buy early on but only if you are steam rolling everyone. If you build hextech revolver update it into will of the ancients. Hextech gunblade is an awful item and a noob trap on Katarina.

Tape q w e r down and run into the team

Don't play Katarina.

Dont play her if more than 3+ enemy champions have ways to stop your ult.

Step 1 Put your face on the keyboard. Step 2 Start rolling.

Early levels 1-5 its all about poking and trying to safely proc Q. Use Q to poke and farm to avoid harass and when you see your enemy laner use abilities to farm look to proc your Q with W or E+W. If you hit level 6 first always look to all in your opponent as you will have a major advantage in most matchups. Max Q if you plan on poking a lot and farming from a distance and Max W if you are in a melee matchup or plan on getting in more sustained trades.

Laning post 6 is all about waiting for your enemy laner to use their CC then all-inning them. Whether you think you can kill the enemy laner or not if you see them use their CC that can stop your ult then you always ult them to deal some free damage, this will force them to play the laner more timidly or go back to base. Also look to shove in the wave to their tower and roam top or bot if the opportunity presents itself.

Late game you can either look to assassinate a squishy before/during the fight then get out to determine your next best opportunity or you can look to clean up the lower health enemies after the fight has already started. If you are fed/carrying, it can be better to look to blow up a squishy before/as the fight starts rather than wait for the fight to happen because then you will have a better opportunity to have backup from your team rather than waiting to clean up a possible 1v5 if your team loses the fight hard.

Best Items to build on Kat (In my opinion):

Poke with Q until you're sure you can take the kill. Only roam when you're sure you can get the kill and your teammates are aware of the gank so they can prepare. Max W first if you want more dueling power against enemy melee mids, otherwise just max Q for farming and poke from a safe distance.

boots 4 Vs Ap cloth 5 start vs AD/ Max q unless vs strong melee then max W first normal combo is QEW or QWE. Don't roam unless you can guarantee a kill
