Falling behind in jungle

Hi, I have been jungling since level 1 and have noticed that i am usually below my teammates levels in games, the only time I've seen myself higher level than them is if im going 8-0 by 15 minutes. After I clear Gromp/golems then red and blue i usually gank top or mid depending on who needs more help or who we need to shut down early. while my team is around level 12-13 i find myself only at 10-11, i dont know if this is normal for junglers since i am relatively new. I am also playing top tier champs (Lee sin, elise, J4,) if that has anything to do with it. thanks!

i dont think snyone considers elise top tier anymore

you probably just need to farm more, I never stop farming... (thats why I take devourers) sure you gank too, but rlly I'm lazy and just go for counter ganks cuz they seem to go better

with this new Jung most champions in jung now fall behind... im talking 2 or 3 levels. I think riot wants this to prevent to early ganks. That being said you normally will still reach ranked 10 or 11 around the same time as mid or bot. Top always seems to rank up the fastest from my experience.

Some champions can still fly through the jung no problem, like Nunu but they are few and far now of days

The problem is simple: You're jungling without proper tier 3 runes.

Even with tier 3 runes, clearing your first round in the jungle is a difficult process, much more than it was in season 3 when you had 5 and then later on 4 potions.

You have to be perfect with timing abilities to stop jungle creep's autos, otherwise you will end up with 200-300 hp less than you could have had.
