Which Top laners can carry a game alone?

The ones I see snowball and carry the game the most are probably:

Honestly, it's personal preference. It also depends on your playstyle. Ryze, Gnar, Rumble, Wukong, Tryndamere, Riven, Fiora. A lot of top lane champs are viable. Top is not the best lane to carry a game. You're all alone on an island and unless you have Jungle help, its can be risky to try to snowball a lane if you're matched with an evenly skilled opponent. Once you're behind it can be hell until laning phase is over.

Since you play Jayce, I think he is a great champion to siege and kill towers. Maxing W second can kills towers fast. Farm to get your items and pick off towers with your team or by split pushing with TP.

Riven tends to dominate a game if she gets ahead, but getting fed doesn't mean you're carrying. One mistake i see riven players do once they get ahead is split push and fail instead of helping their teammates take objectives. Ultimately costing their team the game.

Rumble is dang hard to learn, but has amazing potential in both splitpush and teamfights.

Riven, Ryze, Irelia, Fiora, Rumble, and as always...the late game 1v1 king Nasus.

Rarely, nowadays. Then again, I'm thinking of the bruisers and assassins that belong there, not the ranged ones. Back in Season 2 and early Season 3, a top laner could solo carry a game. Not so much this season.
