help with runes.
Im a level 20 looking for help building a rune page. i just want to learn about rune pages and how they work. can anyone help me out?

Yeah, they give you stat bonuses. You can buy them at the shop for IP.
There are four types of runes, each type offering a few different options and different efficiency at those options. Runes are often either flat (set bonus at level 1) or scaling (bonus increases with level)
Seals: Efficient at armor and health Glyphs: Efficient at casting stats and MR Marks: Efficient at damage stats Quints: Mostly efficient at everything
Your first two rune pages are typically standard pages for AD and AP.
9x flat Armor Seals 9x MR glyphs (flat or scaling) 9x AD marks 3x AD Quints
9x flat Armor Seals 9x MR glyphs (flat or scaling) 9x mpen marks 3x AP Quints
These runes suit most any champion with reasonable efficiency. Attack speed is preffered by some on the AD page, and it increases DPS more, while armor pen usually enhances AD casters more. I recommend raw AD for its overall handiness. Additional rune pages can be purchased and allow greater flexibility when choosing your runes before a ranked match start, based on laning opponent. You cannot change your rune pages after you enter champion select.
thank you guys, i know what they are for, i just didnt understand the difference between the seals, glyphs, marks, and quints. I also wanted ideas for my sion for actually getting help and building. i thought about full ad but it just doesnt seem like a good idea. i seen that there is lifesteal so it would be good for sion, but people have also told me armor pen. now i also want to build him kinda tanky. so id have armor runes and magic resist. then of course his ad runes.
