After I found out that you can make a similar interaction to grab with ult, I decided to grab some friends and put into the equation. The results were awesome!

We actually tried it but the most we could was the Biltz - Kali combo since Thresh have to be so far back and our lantern timings were terrible. We suck but hopefully someone good can pull it off in a real game soon ^_^

I did something like this on accident in team builder as Blitz. My friend ult'd me when I wasn't expecting it and if I went on the enemy leona I would have died to turret aggro. I ulted backward and landed my Q on her for us to secure the kill. Fun stuff.

what lane setup was that? thresh top, blitz sup, adc kalista? normally when i do the thresh blitz combo with a friend, i play thresh as the adc

We were in a bot game but you can have a lot of good setups like Blitz in mid/top/jungle and standard thresh kali bot lane (jungle would be hard since 4.20). The downside would be no extra damage in autos down bot since you have to bind Blitz. Another good setup would be standard Blitz Kali lane with Thresh ideally on top since he has horrible matchups in mid.
