How Do I Improve My Gameplay???

I have been sitting at Gold 5 all of season 4 now. I have gotten to Gold 4 5-6 times only to be thrown back into Gold 5 within 10 games. When I started playing ranked i felt like i improved with every game, now I don't really seem to learn from mistakes. What are some things i can do to improve my gameplay and reach my goal of getting to platinum eventually. One thing I notice is that i tend to struggle in early laning. I also tend to backwards snowball, once i make mistakes i usually end up making more and more errors in positioning. Also, Is recording my games and re-watching them a good way to analyze my weaknesses and fix them?

Well at this point, you don't have a lot of time left (3 weeks I think?) before the season ends, so if you want to get plat this season you'll have to work pretty hard to earn it.

That being said, the term you're looking for during backwards snowballing is "going on tilt." "Oh fuck I messed up, oh fuck I was too busy thinking about how I fucked up/was angry that it made me fuck up again. Oh fuck..." etc. Calm down. It's a game, while in game, focus on what you CAN do better, not what you COULD HAVE DONE better.

Yes. Ideally you want someone better than you are to look over them with you so they can tell you specifically why you're being a shitter.

The best way is to hire a challenger coach to critique your play by either spectating and playing with you. soroco120 is one such player. check out his livesteam on twitch at twitch.tv/soroco120. Hope that helps! =)
