Hello! This is a short guide I made to help newer support players. The guide gives some tips and tricks to help with your gold income as support. Even in higher elo games I still see some players not even doing some of the basics to get some gold income as support. As a support every little bit of gold you can get counts! And everyone loves having more gold right?
Also during laning and your ADC is still there, if he's going to miss CS because he's going to CS something else or is otherwise unable to, take it yourself! These are uncommon (with an ADC that farms decently) but you'll often get a few early game especially when you're pushed back to farming under turret.
Another tip is to always try to get an assist; for example, if you're next to someone and they start channeling Teleport, give them a buff so if they get a kill you get assist gold. As long as you're not wasting abilities that won't be up for a fight (like your Ult), using a buff that won't actually help net the kill is still worth casting if you get an assist off it.

Great tips on banner of command. My only critique is when you tell people to kill scuttle crab. If you're a mage support this isn't a bad idea as you have enough damage to kill it but when you're a tank support it can take you the better part of a minute to kill that one scuttle crab. That time could be better spent else where and I often find myself in the position where I am just about to kill it and someone will just swipe the kill blow from me. It's not a bad idea but there still are better choices that can be made with your time as a tank support.
