Patcher suggestions

I've noticed that Riot seems to have a lot of patcher problems with the game(singular) it has been running for the past 5 years. I feel that as a part of this... community, maybe i should try and offer possible solutions, so I posted a possible solution to the patcher problems below.

Note: Even deleting this game takes more time than other games, just as cleaning up runny new shit takes more time than cleaning up regular old shit(as experience with pets shows). I suggest going out for a short walk. By the time you come back, there should hopefully be no signs of this inferior product on your computer.

Now i know some of you might be feeling indignant at this post, saying 'It's a free game!' Sadly, i've thrown some money at this game, too. Also, if Riot were having problems in the staffing department, I'm sure they could dip into the $2 million prize pool they've got going annually.

It feels like every time the patcher screws up, everyone seems up in arms for a few days, then everyone forgets everything and the shoddy work that is the patcher is allowed to continue its poorly functioned existence. Well, I'm planning to keep my hands clean of this mess for as long as possible, and if you feel the same way, you should too. Even if you're going to end up playing video games, try and play one that has a decent patcher, *because at the end of the day you're going to be that patcher's b&$%**, above all else.

I'd like to say that there were more good times than bad, but frankly towards the end it was more of an addiction, with the law of diminishing returns in full effect and most of the issues only served as a downer. I almost fell off the wagon again, until the patcher glitched for two days and a 1GB patch popped up, with no way for the patcher to remember progress after 33%. That was pretty much the safety-bar for this game.

Writing this feels therapeutic for the anger and disappointment i feel for this game.
