I've noticed that several streamers, when starting blue side, take krugs then red buff as their second camp. I have always done krugs--> raptors--> red when blue side, so as to have smite up and get the hp from the buff. I was wondering what the advantage of starting krugs --> red is.

this is where you can decide what to use your smite on
you can smite the wraiths to see wards
you can smite the wolves if you're a victim of counterjungling champs 
or you can be safe with a bit of extra defensive power when smiting gromp
the krug buff should usually be gone by your 4th camp depending on your clear speed
