I'm tired of tilting in bronze and want to improve. Help.

A little bit of frustration on my side to preface. I don't understand how going 5-5 in placements after finishing silver last season constitutes going all the way back to the bottom of bronze. It makes no sense when other players with higher MMR only lose one division where as I lose almost an entire league for the same record. I've had 2 promos in the past 2 days and have gone 1-2 in each one, and today has been the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm really sick of losing because I can't carry a team who feeds, a team who never listens to me, a team with one DC, and a team who just tilt on each other when losing to a troll comp.

I'm looking for a long-term mentor to help me improve my skills as a player and as a teammate. I am tired of being stuck in the same position where I am unable to carry my team or do anything noteworthy to turn the tide of the game in my team's favor. I mainly play jungle/support, top, ADC/mid in that order. (ADC/mid last because I feel my mechanics are horrible for those roles, I usually stick to jungle/support, default to top if those two are taken and it's open.) My highest point last season was Silver 4.

First, I know it can be really frustrating to go through promos 2 or 3 or 4 or more times and not get promoted, but if you're really serious about improving add me in game and we can talk in detail about what you can do to improve. My general advice to you is to try your best not to focus on what your team is doing but rather on what you are doing. If you have a great game and carry, take note of what you did well. If you have a bad game, look at what mistakes you made and what you can do better. If you have a team that is very toxic/trolly, just mute all of them and play to the best of your ability. I also reccommend playing a role that is easier to carry at lower elos, such as jungle or mid. Playing support is a gamble in that you are hoping your plays allow your team to win, which is a lot less likely than if you hard carry in another role. It also helps if you only play 2-3 champs per role and become REALLY good at those champs. As for what you can do specifically message me in game, hope this helps!

There was a chart. like 95% of silvers fell to mid/low bronze, some even going 10 wins in provisional. (S4 to B3 here with 4/6)

Those saying they didn't are either lying or silvers that were ranked much higher mmr wise...don't sweat it.

On the other hand, I feel you man....Games are horrible down here. I have had such toxic/stupid players on my teams that the net result is less of a desire to play at all. I can only manage a game or two a night, if the first game is a toxic/afk/dumb-call-filled nightmare, I wont play the second. Even with a good win-rate It is going to take me a LONG time to get out.....Were a good win rate guaranteed.

ok so i saw your stats and i saw your division. Ok so in bronze and silver the only way to climb out of them is split pushing or having insane mechanics. People are just that bad. So we need to improve your mechanics we do that by watching streams or vods from voyboy or wingsofdeathx specific champions make sure to have the same. Specifically them because they actually explain everything about match ups and decision making. You need to play more games i have already played over 200 games this season(they cut my hours at work GG) I got to gold like 20-30 games from silver 4(i got placed from provisionals i was gold last season.) If you can stream add me in game and ill work with you for 2 games ill coach you or if you have recorded recent vods we can go over it.

Well it's not getting any better...I feel like giving up on this game. I really hate the soft reset. It's so hard to climb again and I can't win games. I'm now on a 6 game losing streak and I feel like just uninstalling because I'll never have fun and I'll never climb. Everything I try to do to learn about the game doesn't work when I can't have a consistent queue of games to hang my hat on. Nothing works. Learning anything about the game does no good when I still end up in the same position. I see no gains from my efforts to improve and I don't know what to do anymore.
