I suck. Like, well average. When can I play against other average people?

Played LOL for a couple months now.... I CS OK-ish, I can dodge sometimes, I know how to not just "rush in". I've played multiple champs, and know a few pretty decently. I understand everyones roles, and can commit to team objectives. I've read guides, builds, bought t3 runes. etc etc etc. I practice against bots (hah, pushover)

But whenever I queue solo blind pick (which, is the ONLY MODE I can queue up for before 30) I typically get demolished. I REFUSE to believe I'm just not "fast enough" for this game, and everyone else I meet in this game is. Either I poke too hard and die, or don't poke enough and get bullied in lane to the point where I'm behind etc.

So, when can I play against just average people like myself? Once I get into ranked?

Let me spectate your games because looking at your match history stats I can tell you your CSing is not "OK" and it really seems like you can only play 1 champion which has a super high ban rate in ranked.

So I can tell you are below average and it is to be expected that these things are happening to you. Then again you aren't level 30 and you are pretty inexperienced and you still have much to learn.

There's a thing called MMR. It's Match-Making Rating. Basically does that for you. You have a rate of, say, 100, everyone else on your team does, you have an MMR of 500(if I understand it correctly). Bam, other team has an MMR of around 500(usually about 490-510).

It's probably because you don't play a lot of pvp. I used to play almost exclusively against bots, and I lost several times in a row in pvp. Then it matched me with equally bad people.

  1. Ward and use map awareness (glance at your mini map, enemies are red and you biologically look at the color red first) Run if getting ganked.
  2. NO raging, Compliment and keep cool. Niceness goes a lonnnnnng way man.
  3. Be adept with 2 champions in each of the 5 roles.
  4. Do not look up guides for counters, play who you are best with. 5.PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE
  5. Build accordingly to what your team needs if you are a lower tier pick (third-fifth) you have an ahri and nasus? Great, support or jungle needs to be a hefty tank with heavy cc(stuns, snares, hooks, roots.. you get the idea.) It won't do good if you have a squish support with one tank (nasus) you'll just be blown to bits late game to quickly to react. But if you do need damage (say malphite and sej where picked first) you need burst.
  6. Did i mention benign communication with no arguing? Happy peers means happy coordination. 8.Got a rager on yours or the enemies team? IGNORE THEM.
  7. Don't make a play that dosen't feel right in your gut, go for well opened picks that you KNOW you can benefit from.

false you can que up for draft with 16 champs unlocked, including free. There is also team builder that has no champ min ownership tied to it.

The requirement for ranked is level 30 with 16 owned, none free.

The same thing happened to me. It was extremely frustrating. After i hit 30 it got even worse, so i made a new account so i could play against lower level people again as i learned the game.
