how does one carry as riven top/mid lane
Read the title, also I'm bronze but plz dont judge me based off of that entirely cuz I'm asking for help on carrying as my favorite champion in the game

You cannot just tell someone how to carry. Usually win your lane and create plays your team can benefit from. A few examples would be Using Ulti +E and flash into a stun of multiple members will create a good opening and you can follow it up with your Qs. Be aware of how ahead/behind you are and make plays based of of that.

Riven is a slightly more difficult champion to carry a game with. She doesn't have the blatant power of a hyper-carry like Fiora, but she's very well rounded in both offense and defense.
However a lot of carrying games doesn't depend on your champion so much as your attitude and playstyle.
- Don't pick into a counter if you can avoid it.
- Be aware of your surroundings.
- Set up plays for your jungler by not keeping your lane constantly pushed.
- Don't take unnecessary risks.
- Don't try to make 'worth' plays.
- Fight on your own terms.
- Be unpredictable. Riven is a common sight so a lot of people know how she plays. Break the mould.
