So top lane is the only lane I dont know much about. Can someone give me some good champs worth learning and what their role is in the game. not a complete guid or anything but if I can learning lets say 4 champions and nothing more thatd be good since I dont know many top lane match ups a little about the champs would be nice.
Sure man, top lane main here.
Very easy to pick up and play, with probably the most intuitive combo in the game. Extremely tanky, but with high damage as well. Fairly immobile, but if he gets onto a squishy ADC or APC and was doing well in lane he can usually kill them. He's a very heavy fighter or a "juggernaut", so his role is to be hard to kill and a huge threat in fights. His team should help him stick to targets.
Fairly easy to learn. His laning is only okay, he generally has a harder time against tanks and heavy bruisers, but can snowball off of squishies. Wukong operates like an assassin, but Wukong is far more durable than most champions of that class. Boasts high burst damage and respectable durability, as well as a fair amount of mobility and outplay potential. Oh, and his ultimate is one of the strongest in the game. An AOE knockup with a huge total AD ratio.
is similar to Wukong, but with less AOE and more sticking power in team fights. Also has very easy farming and good sustain in lane. Only damage item that is essential is Triforce, but she can also get a Blade of the Ruined King.
The king of splitpushing. Simple mechanically, able to 1v1 most laning opponents with his ult, especially late game. Also the king of level 2 cheese. His early game crits are absolutely brutal, and his trades are very powerful with his full fury bar. After laning phase he typically contributes by splitpushing or cleaning up team fights (he has to clean up because his own team fighting is fairly weak). Of the top lane melee ADCs he is probably the easiest to learn and still the most effective in solo Q.
Wanted to have a tank as well. Easy to learn, with decent waveclear in lane due to his E. Virtually unstoppable when against an all AD comp, since he actually gets damage by building armour. Due to this he does more damage than your average tank, and his ultimate is one of the best initiates in the game. If you can get your R off against the entire enemy team or at least the backline, the team fight is probably won then and there.
