Kha'Zix Evolution Animation Cancel

Hey guys,

A while ago I saw someone evolving the abilities of our favorite bug in the game. That's not that uncommon, I know. However, he somehow cancelled the animation of the evolution, so that his evolution was instant. It looked liked this: He evolved, recalled shortly after and walked away with an evolved ability. Anyone know how this works? I never seen it before and I love to play kha, so kind of desperate to know. I already tried to recall during the evolve, but it doesnt work for me.

I'm not sure how it works but I'd recommend treading carefully since this could be considered bug abuse (no pun intended) which is bannable. People were banned for the Sion bug (hold position to change direction while ulting). This would obviously be less severe but it still gives a bit of an unfair advantage for using it, so probably not a good idea.

well, canceling animations to get an unfair advantage seems to be legit... as fair as im concerned about riven

Unless stated by Riot, it shouldnt mean a ban tho. I guess if one was able to do it and it was against the rules, Riot should warn that person 1st, or at least create a post about it somewhere.
