I just bought Brand and I was wondering if you have any recommendations for masteries, runes, builds, anything really.

item 3116 is your friend. makes it infinately easier to land your combos.

item 3151 is your other friend. It deals dmg initially, and stacks with your passive (so they together deal alot of DoT dmg) which with the above is doubled.

Thanks, and wht should I do for masteries?

Safest route for masteries would usually be 21//0/9 with focus on ap and cooldown for offense and mana and move speed for utility. Runes should be magic pen quints, ap marks, mr glyphs and armor seals. This would be a standard Brand masteries and runes build, but it all depends on how aggressive you are so alter this guideline to fit your specific play style.

If u r against a galio, prepare for utter bs as he can just heal of ur passive for days

I really like hybrids on Brand. Because his spells have such a high mana cost you'll be auto attacking a whole lot early on. Hyrbids will help you CS early on. Hybrids you can run on him for his marks or quints. Although Quints might be better off being movement speed since Brand is immobile. Seals can be health, scaling or flat. Its a safer choice than armor. And Glyphs are your choosing, scaling magic resistance or mana regeneration. Mana regeneration is the more accessible choice and favors an offensive play style. Scaling magic is if you're outranged by another mage like Lux, Xerath and Syndra.
