I'm dying here both figuratively and literally in the game. I main mid lanes, but every now and then i play kog, when i play kog i lose, horribly. I need to know if kog can deal the same damage as other carries or if i just suck at adc. And i really need to know at the moment, it is super important to me that i get an answer. So please, respond.
yes kog can deal just as much OR MORE than other adc's but he doesn't do it right away. kog is a late game hyper carry, which means you just need to try to tread water in lane till you complete your tri force; and never try to 1v1 ppl, make sure you have a support or other team member around to keep the enemy off you. i play kog alot(he's actually the only adc i play) and i have discovere, about as painfully as you, that if you can get to that post triforce part of the game you are pretty much golden.
oh and one last thing, don't build kog full crit like most adc, you'll be missing out on alot of damage if you are. my standard build (in order):
