Can't change my input.ini file

First of all, Hello!

This is the first time I post on here so I want to apologize beforehand if this is the wrong section to post this.

Anyways, a couple of weeks ago, I found a way to bind attack click move on the left mouse button, it got some time getting used to, but finally I was able to kite decently, since kiting with the more traditional settings didn't really feel natural for me.

Then, patch 5.18 came up, and after that I was unable to change the input.ini file again to work properly (I alternate between the regular input configuration, and the attack click move configuration depending on the type of champ I play, I usually play non-adc champs on the regular config)

So I was wondering if there is a way to make the file changeable again, or at the very least find out why I can't change it anymore.

Again, sorry if this isn't where I'm supposed to post this.

Was having same problem removed the "persisent setting" file. works fine now no problems either

No prob man just did some messing around and realized that that file would override all others. It replaces itself too so I guess it is necessary.

Dude omg THANK YOU. I spent two days trying to figure this shit out. I was going crazy and was even considering quitting league. I've play with attack move click on left for the last 2 years and when i accidentally reset to default and couldn't get my setting back i was so frustrated tried play 1 game and i was like omg this is terrible. ty sir u have saved a life today. lol

Hey BipolarManBat I have the answers to your problem. You have to go into persistent settings and find the certain key your trying to change. such as in my case I had to change evtAttackMoveClick with the button I wanted to set it to and save. Input.ini no longer overides league systems. You have to change it through Persistent Settings. Hope this helped.

Wow. You're awesome. I have my attack move click set as Button 1 on my laptop and I set it like that long ago. Recently got a new gaming desktop, was having problems changing it to that and wasn't sure why it wasn't working.

wtf though, why did Riot do such a fucking retarded thing. Why suddenly and randomly make a persistent setting file now???? O.o
