LoL help sites

hi all, i am recently returning to LoL after some time. I was wandering if there are some good sites i can visit to better understand my champions and builds. I have heard of mobafire and lolking but not really sure which is a good site to use. Can anyone steer me in the right direction with this?

also are there any good/recommended addons for LoL as well?

Neither of them. To better understand the game, you should seek to understand the game. You want a League wiki. Not a bunch of statistic aggregators, they won't help you in the least.
