"It's my team's fault we lost!"

No, let me put a few things out there, because I see this so much, especially when I play jungle, and it's saddening that people don't realize the little things they DON'T do that can cost you the game.

This is not a hostile post. It is, however, an exhausted one.

But I digress.

Let's start off with a typical scenario. You've won lane. Good. That's good. So you stay in lane and push down their first tower, that's also good. DON'T JUST STAY IN LANE AND KEEP PUSHING. ROAM AND HELP OTHER LANES.

It doesn't matter if you're top, bot, whatever. Mid-lane isn't the only lane that can roam.

Also, just because you warded doesn't mean you're safe from ganks and can push all the way up to the enemy tower with no fear. Know how to escape, and always make sure you have a way to get out of sticky situations if needed. They can and will happen.

Another thing: When I jungle, I see this a lot. Watch your lane-mate. If the enemy mid wards the bottom bush, and you want a gank, tell your jungler they warded bottom bush so that they know to gank from top river. It wastes you junglers time if they sit in the bush waiting to gank someone who knows they are there and won't give them the opportunity.

Also, look at your minimap consistently, and don't play with a locked camera. You may not think you need to know what's going on in other lanes, but you do.

And then there's the standard things. Ward. Always ping mia's, even if they are only gone for a second. A pre-emptive false alarm is better than no MIA at all.

Please, for sanity's sake, at least try to remember these things.

Hey,, to be fair, the player saying that IS part of their own team. Technically accurate.

On the flip side, some games happen where even Quas wouldn't win that game (since I'm top lane mainly).

I've had many games where people blame the jungler for not ganking their lane or not having their lane warded at all. From my experience as a jungler, unless I had TF's global teleport ult, I don't think I can make it from let's say bot lane after ganking bot lane all the way to top lane within the span of 2-3 seconds.

I've also had games where my "teammate" would intentionally feed after dying once and then blame the game itself for sucking, and not for their lack of good plays. Players who shift blame more often than anything from what I've seen are the same people who blame their team for their deaths when they could be easily preventable, and even more so when their teammates are coaching them and trying to keep a more neutral attitude than anything else.

These players who blame their teammates also have a very tilted view on constructive criticism. If a teammate calls them out on a bad play and offers a suggestion, from personal experience (as well as reading many of the stories from the forum), these players think it's verbal abuse or negative attitude and report right away.

Overall, yes I agree with your post. I stopped playing locked camera, and my skills have improved immensely since that.
