thresh or leona? :D
i'm asking myself for months , who i should choose: thresh or leona?
I need some help to make a decision between them, I hope you guys could help me with your own opinion. btw i can handle thresh so skills are not the problem.

Thresh. First, he is green. Secondly he has a sickle and a lantern. Lastly he is green.
ok comes down to peel vs. engage. Thresh can peel really well and Leona can engage really well. It comes down to your carry and teamcomp. Can my carry follow up with engage (graves, ezreal, cait, corki) or do they need peel (ashe, mf, varus, jinx).
Hi there, i'm a leona main myself and it really depends on who your facing with, team comp, how you play and your adc..
leona is the all in type and where once you land your e, everything else will follow through but this goes the same as thresh but with less combos lol..
Also i personally feel that leona is just a bit tankier that thresh is, i get to try thresh last week and he was pretty decent also but doesn't feel like my playstyle..
mana issues are the same with both of them though, spell cost a lot to cast so be warry of that.

Thresh can become useless if he falls behind is the only issue with him. Braum is good if you are thinking tank support, very strong pick overall as a support.
Leona.
Her ult is better in my opinion, plus you can have fun with her and try different roles (thresh can go almost anywhere alright, but Leona makes a monstrous jungler in the right hands).
I've played both. I have more fun with Thresh, although he isn't as tanky as Leona. I just build Thresh really tanky with no damage items.
Thresh is easily one of the best supports in the League. His kit is very unique as it is a melee while his autos are ranged, this allows for the very versatile plays you can pull off. I personally suggest thresh for this reason, and he can be built just as tanky as leona, and I think you will have fun.
personally I like leona more, but thresh has more tools available so it could be argued that he's the stronger support champ.
Why choose? They're both great. Master them both. It's not like you'll be able to reliably take one of them in every game. They're both high pick candidates.
I would say that Thresh is a lot more versatile and that he has better utility (but at the cost of durability and damage when compared to Leona) Thresh lanter/W is unique and can be incredibly strong... if your allies take them and don't mess around with them.... (I remember the times when you could take the lantern while being snared... that was so silly... oh amumu ulted me... no worries I will just take this lantern and i will be safe) Thresh can kind of do it all... jack of all trades master of non
While Leona can only engage and go all in but she is the one that does that the best of anyone she has excellent durability (with her W) and good damage and lock down (her passive deals good damage and she has good base damages)
