I am looking for mains with Twisted fate or people who know how to work with him properly. I want to learn how to rightly position him, when its best to go in , the right builds, runes, and masteries for him. I also want to learn some good Combo's with Tf in lane, Like what do I do if I'm going against someone like a Velkoz Or Malzahar , How do I compete with them? Things like that I want to learn to get better with him. Thank you if you can help me Ekko

^This website collects data from ranked games in Plat+ elo and gives you highest Winrate/Popularity Runes,Masteries, and Items. It's always pretty useful.

TF's combos for trading are fairly basic: Simply try to Q into a Gold card when your E passive is available

Blue card + E passive is also a quick effective trade

If you want some more damage go the standard AP runes.

If you want to focus more on roaming and ganking swap the AP quints with movespeed.

21/0/9 are the ideal masteries for tf, the utility masteries giving him some much needed sustain and movespeed and sustain (see link)

For items build lich bane first and then ludens/zhonyas depending on if you want more damage or more survivability

Some tips: -Use red card and throw it at minions near your enemy laner for a very safe trade -If you don't plan on trading soon or getting ganked use your blue card whenever it is up -Remember the damage on his W is Blue>Red>Gold! -When ulting to gank a lane always try to pull out a gold card after you begin the teleportation process -If you are in a desperate situation, really don't be afraid to double tap your W and test your luck. It's a lot better than trying waiting for a gold card and dying.

Velkoz is tricky because TF has no real mobility to jump on him. Try for early game trades but most importantly keep your distance from him. He can output a lot of damage with his E>W combo. Request ganks. If you gold card him in a gank he will for sure flash if not die. Malzahar has effective range than most mid laners but can burst very effectively. The issue is, TF's power comes from farming/ganking but Malzahar is a very good duelist. Stay away from him @ level 6 and be very careful when he has ult. Early game don't be afraid to trade with him because Mal's early game is pretty poor (but still be smart about trading with him). Also remember his E (which is his "main" ability to max) will jump to a nearby enemy if the enemy who had it dies! Stay away from your minions that are about to die and have been infected. Again, request ganks and use your gold against him in ganking/trades. Gold into Q will help you a lot in this lane.

I'm an actual TF main and from experience I can tell you that match ups play a big role when you're first learning. By that I mean you need to be VERY careful against an assassin in mid. Now personally the runes I run are 9 magic pen marks, 9 health/level seals, 9mr/level glyphs, 2 AP quints, 1 MS quint. Masteries I go 21/0/9 get the biscuits and the ms. Now early game I set my dominance by going W first to poke. When I poke I'm not going for a certain card because as soon as you click W they will start moving back so i go with my first card and go for a poke just keep an eye on mana. Also always carry atleast 1 stealth ward. Now once you reach level 6 without dying in lane be careful of your opponents ult so try not to fight him/her but rather go for a gank. Putting yourself ahead but this 1 gank that gave you a kill or assist doesn't give you a big enough lead unless your opponent in mid sucks to the point where you can poke them down before they go all in with their ult. i'd wait till you have 4 kill participation ahead and good farm. Usually a good jungle will help you achieve this quickly. Now since your opponent will probably be heading back you just want to take down their turrent, hold yours(unless you're fed enough to push farther) and gank in between times he backs. Buy zonyhas after eckos and hat. I hope my tips helped in some way even though it seems so unorganized
