Looking to improve my game

Hey all, as the title says, I'm looking to get better at League. Right now I main ADC with Caitlyn, and I have a very bad tendency to lose my lane. I also only play with my friends; so far I have yet to play with randoms. It's mainly my early game that goes south, I tend to contribute more later on during the team fights. Anyone out there willing to lend some helpful tips and advice? I feel that I rely too much on my friends and that it also serves to distract me in a way, so I plan on just getting over my fears and play games myself. Again, any advice is appreciated.

Always looking to help people out. Its hard to give advice based on your match history but the first thing that jumps out at me is that your CS per minute is very low. I recommend making custom games and just practice last hitting minions.

I record every game I play and would be happy to play some games with you so I can give you some more specific advice.

Caitlyn has been consistently an awkward laner.

Because if she falls behind in the beginning, it will create a snowball effect and result in a very weak ad mid game making this very prone to exploit.

If you are truly looking to improve as an ADC main, you won't subject yourself to one single champion, at least not one that handicaps a true ad players potential.

Generally with Caitlyn, you want to know how to trade, when to trade, how to control your lane and in general controlling the lane in your favor. Due to your naturally long reach on your range, this is Caitlyns upside compared to lower ranged ad.

Most mistakes I see with inexperienced adc players is that they don't utilize the move function enough. For example, they would be fighting / poking without backing up a movement input after this, essentially you're rooting yourself for 0.8 - 1 second by moving so damn slow lol.

And even worse is their positioning. Sometimes I even see AD carries with long range, POKE at a much closer range than needed.

Positioning can make the difference between a very threatening AD, or an easy kill.

Constantly move in game, and keep your mouse near your character, because it will be the fastest response time when switching directions.
