hi so i'm currently looking for a fun champion to play mid with. I would love someone that good have a good escape and mobility. Some damage and health would be great but not a priority im looking at. Something that has great potential when mastered. I love playing xin, twitch, and lucian if that helps at all. Thank you :)
I play a lot of Lissandra. As long as you can work with her short range, she has a lot of outplay potential and is a menace in teamfights. Not to mention she at least somewhat counters Fizz, Yasuo, and Zed. Three currently popular picks.
Azir fits that description. Others I can think of are Lissandra, Ziggs, Kennen and Ahri.

Despite not being conventional, ziggs is a pretty fun/hilarious champion to play mid. Rylise makes him good for picks when combined with his mines, and his ability to siege towers works well compared to other mages like karthus/lulu.
kassadin can be sortve tanky and was recently buffed into viability lots of mobility
