Veilgar what are some tips & tricks
I just started using Veilgar & don't really know what are some good: items, combos, & etc anyone got some good advice on how to use him I'm relatively new to the game

Veigar's one of those weird champions who despite being incredibly simple, can go a bunch of different ways. Basically, you want to max his AP and "try" to make him more elusive. Archangels/rod of ages are kinda mandatory, after that the builds are pretty wide open.
My recommended build is as follows.
Morellonomicon, because it's both cost-efficient and great on Veigar, though it's probably better to go with 
into 
if you don't run Mana Regen runes like I do. Despite his passive, his Mana regen isn't great on it's own.

After this, you can either go one or two ways. Go for either a 
or a 
. AP or Burst. Your choice.
After that, you can essentially go for whatever.

In the laning phase, you'll want to try your best to both farm up AP with your Q, and poke at the enemy laner. Early on, I usually use Dark Matter(W) for attacking the Mini-Veigars and Q'ing them right after for an instant 2 stacks. Only use your E if your enemy is coming toward you to either stun them, or end up trapped in a cage. In either situation, use your Q and W to try and damage them while they're there.
His Ultimate isn't a great execute skill like it used to be, but it's point and click, so that's a plus. Also, if you happen to be laning against an Azir that knows what they're doing, or LeBlanc, you can kiss your sorry yordle butt goodbye to your HP.

With enough AP, you should be able to drop w on the Melee Minion's and q 2 of them for dbl stacks. Just as well you can get enough AP to 1 shot caster minions and Small Raptors in the Raptor Camp. So toss blind q's (you have to work the angles out right) into Raptor camps to pick up dbl q stacks. Also don't be afraid to use your q to harass the enemy champ early lane
