Moving past my silver barrier

Hi there I have been playing league for quite some time, but over the last 3 seasons is where I have made most of my strides becoming better. Just recently I managed to make it back to silver and strive to make it back to gold where I was for a very breif bit last season before I decayed back to silver. I am simply asking if there might be anyone who is willing to either help tutor me in what mistakes I might not be seeing myself do, or if even just a few tips in terms of things I might have missed in general. I do know alot about the game but I feel like I am either not applying my knowledge like I thought or I'm applying it incorrectly. Any help or advice would be much appreciated
