Yasuo Q or E first?

So, instead of focusing on something current, lets make this a fun thread. I see pro players play Yasuo all the time, and sometimes they start Q, and other times they start E. So, I tried to finding which one is statistically better, but all i see is whether to max Q or E first, not whether to start with Q or E first. So, Q or E?

BTW, this is my first thread, so sorry if it's all clumped up together. :P

highly dependent on the lane.

Depends on match up. Vs stuff like Lux you can use e to gap close her as she uses an abilty early to dodge it and go up and mele. With champions that you don't want to be close you want to get Q.

This isn't 100% accurate it's just what I see all the time that is effective.

you start with E to fuck up the other guy at lvl1

what you max first tho is dependent on other shet

I'd put a suggestion on e, with the last buff on Yasuo q has a static base cooldown at all ranks, so maxing only provides 1 benefit, base damage (+20), but the majority of your q damage comes from the ad scaling anyway. E gives more damage increase as well as shorter dash restriction on the same target. ^that said, I reckon there will be some matchups where you dont want to go aggressive at all, as such maxing q would be better for last hitting

When I play yasuo, I usually start Q and max e, and it has worked for me most of the time

It's situational. I start E against mage or ranged champs, and I start q against melees.
