well i might not be the highest rank as i'm currently only in gold 4, but here's my bit of advice. You should have aggressive wards in the enemy jungle since you are playing two very snowbally champions and work very well in killing someone and getting out. Make it easy for your team and make the game a 4v5! Also if you don't mind playing other champions and since you appear to like playing assasins i suggest trying talon out, it got me from silver 2 to where i am now :D

Those 2 champs have dmg and cleaning up with no cc, on the other hand picking a champ with a stun or other cc that's stackable WITH DMG means even if your teammates are bad, which they are, they can still play off it. This is opposed to you solo handedly trying to carry 4 of them, it's easier to have 1 or 2 more people to depend on on your team to help carry and if you die they can clean up.

Shaco jungle can get you out of bronze easier i think but the champs you listed if you play them well should work also (for bronze)

Many players choose damage-oriented champions to try and snowball themselves. This can leave teams with a lack of initiation, durability, and CC.

This is part of the reason Amumu, Malphite, and Blitzcrank tend to be considered strong in low ELOs, since they provide all of the listed qualities.

Not with Katarina. Shes a pretty popular ban with an equally high ban rate and will continue to be until Riot properly address her snowballing issue, so chances are you won't get to play her at all in ranked.

Not sure how bronze is, but I spammed Kat from Gold to Diamond this season and she can snowball pretty hard in lower elos. She is a bit harder to snowball with than akali because if someone on the other team knows how to save CC for you then you are gonna have some trouble.

they have no CC. what if your team just cowers until the enemy team gets a chain stun initiation on you? then you don't have any chance to go in and just die for nothing.

Your champion selection can be improved. If you think Akali and Katarina are the only champions that can really get you out of bronze you are horribly wrong. The thing is, your champions are easily countered by CC and long range champs. I'm sure that once you play against a good Azir player, you will be facing hell. Your champs are also team reliant, you need teammates that can tank CC and peel for you.

If your SUPER desperate to get out of bronze, I recommend Azir as a pick up. He has insane range and poke, Hyper carry damage and self peel with his ult.

Shyvana not being banned in the jungle should force the enemy team to lose. She's just... so much damage.

Soooo. Much.

If you practice ANY champion enough, you can make it out of Bronze.

I just spectated your Katarina ranked game, the one where you were mid vs Wukong. I came in a bit late, so I didn't see how it happened, but you were 0/4 as the laning phase ended and you had pretty low farm when I came in and throughout the game.

If you want to make it out of Bronze, you will want to place a lot more emphasis on paying attention to enemy abilities. Even though their team had LeeSin ult, MonkeyKing ult, Alistar Q & W, and Renekton W to interrupt your ult, you were pretty eager to immediately hit QEWR as soon as the fight started. You have to be more aware of ability cooldowns. It makes perfect sense that anyone on the enemy team who has one of those abilities will use it on you immediately as soon as they see you Shunpo into 5 champions. If you want the full ult duration you will need to wait until another threat on your team is being dealt with. Alternatively, you could have picked up a BV to soak up one of those 5 abilities.

You also (along with your team) made a pretty big mistake repeatedly: sieging mid lane after the inhib is down. You guys had so many needless deaths inside their base because you kept walking up to their nexus turrets with no goal in mind. There was a point where 4 of you were in their base, 1 died, 3 (including you) were escaping at very low health. Inexplicably, when your two allies got caught and killed, you turned around to Shunpo back in on full health targets just so you could flash over the opposite wall. You would have lived if you had just kept running, but Corki flashed after you and got the quadra (and then got the penta on your last guy). You want to have situational awareness at all times. Since Kat really just has a GO button and nothing else, 99% of your attention can be dedicated to watching the map and being aware of where each champion is, what their health is, how much of a threat they are, what abilities they have available, etc. In that situation, there was nothing to be gained by going back in.

These skills are far more important than the particular champion you're playing. It doesn't need to be an assassin. Any champion will get you to Silver if you learn all the important aspects of the game.

practice katarina and akali?

why bother practicing? isn't the point of playing those champions to win without actually being good?

I think you can make it out of bronze using any champion that can go in 2 lanes and be effective.

Akali and Katarina both fit into that, so yes, being good with them will get you out. Continue to first pick them when given the chance, you should always want to see what your worst possible match up can be, because you can always win out in a skill match up...or at least survive long enough to stay relevant.

Your goal for these two is to get to farm as best as you can. I cannot stress enough, I've had to get out of Bronze IV twice, in 2 separate seasons, and as much as you think ganking from mid can snowball a lane.........a lot of the time IT WILL NOT.

You cannot depend on your team to assist you in ganking, they will watch you go 1v2 or 1v1 top and die. Obviously not always, but keep this mentality in mind unless proven otherwise by the communication your team displays. If bot is warded, always, and you see a lot of pings, they are at least competent.

You want to catch people out, but if you farm, and do not die early game (10 min) you will have the damage to do that later on. Get your turrets down. Draw attention away from your other lanes. If you look at the minimap and notice that people are leaving lanes to stop you, it means that they are recklessly going through their jungler. It becomes very easy for you to determine how many are coming from where, and who is alone to kill.

Good luck
