I discovered a new thing that seems to have potential. Some pretty great results from runeglaive Akali in top lane, mid and the jungle. Despite some losses in my history, laning phase is typically a win. It's beaten Gnar, Vladamir, Shen, and a number of other top and mid laners.

junglerboy161 voteseh, seems like a TON of wasted stats. It gives a tiny on-hit effect that is single target unless clearing jungle (basically why not take Lich bane if it's for burst?). other than the AoE, all it offers over Lich bane is a stronger base AD ratio and a lot of Mana... oh yeah, you don't use mana at all.
In the case of Akali, Lich bane does the same or better in pretty much all situations.
Thansocraut1 votesMeh, I mean it gave the e a .85 second cd, which helped significantly in combat. Plus it allows you to smite raptors, then go wander and sweep other lanes to gank.
