DDOS Provention

a few notes to ppl that are getting ddosed off line. 1 use a vpn i honestly not have checked the tos about vpn's but they should be allowed u should be behind a vpn 24/7 i have a crap connection 10/2 works great actually the route to the servers are better due to my crap isp. 2. Skype is horrid and turn off the direct connections this is stuf u all should know ( Tools -> options -> advanced -> connection and check the box "Allow direct connections to contacts only" ). if u are behind a vpn that's set up properly your ip will never be compromised and latency is no issue on the normal every now and again u can get a torrent bot on the server u are on but even then its is very rare. then again one more thing u can do is buy a cheap dell server cheaper then 90% of the so called routers on the market ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Poweredge-R200-Xeon-E3110-Dual-Core-3-0GHz-4GB-250GB-7-2K-SATA-HDD-Rails-/111397768721?pt=COMP_EN_Servers&hash=item19efd30e11 ) toss a default open bsd os on there and maby read a lil bit and u are golden i am trying to simply help ppl i know this involves work but if riot has not patched the issues were people are pulling ips. (other then on Skype ofc that's user error) then u may need to do work to insure this dose not happen in my op if ppl are pulling ip's from wire shark then that's riots fault and kind of scary any way i am new to the game like 2 weeks if that in my account name is Mr Dark Osiris if u need help with any of this.
