Improve my game

Hi all,

Recently, I've seen a couple of threads with people asking for help in lower elos. So here I am too :)

Recently I did a good amount of normal on another account and really inproved my games. I'm currently silver 4.

I prefer play ADC as I think I'm doing good and I feel like this role can really carry games. Just by playin the way I play I know I will get out of silver soon. Every day, i see progress. But I want to get even better.

Cs wise , I'm doing better than before, as ADC, unless I have a thresh who messes up my CS attempting to Targon,, I usually aim for 6/ per minute. Ofc we all have bad game where you get zone out by good supports etc. But I'm usually doing better than my opponents in CS.

Sometimes i group faster to join team fight or force them when i seey team too behind which hurts my CSing. And usually when I do this, there is always someone who takes farm from me. I think that in my Elo ppl dont know the importance of a fed ADC.

Here is my lolskill.net stats with my champs : http://www.lolskill.net/summoner/NA/Azakuma/champions

Also have some replays if you wanna look at them.

I think I have a decent KDA?

I love adc but I can play 5 roles at the same skill level even though my best lane is ADC cause I played often support and ADC so I know all the match up.

While top being a little bit harder for me since I don't know all the champs and their Skills, passive and CD.

In conclusion, I would love to know what should I work on first to get better and try to reach higher elos.

TLDR : i have replays and stat in links provided if you wanna take a minute to give some pointers to help me get better.

Thank you !

Well there are a few things you could work on, for example on adc you should have more farm cause on most of your games you cant get past the 250 cs mark around min 35 - 45 and thats no good for adc. I know grouping is way better than farming but remember that everytime you all are bunched up together in a lane waiting for someone to engage, all those minions, you should do ur best try to get the last hits on them that way you keep farming. Also everytime you can get a small camp specially around mid game those camps help tons when your lane is pushed and its dangerous to try and get more cs. If u want more tips u can add me no problemo at all. Hotpes is my ign

Yeah I need to get my CS to a higher level. Is 6 per minute easily achievable every game? Cause i dont get it too often . For now on, imma make sure to concentrate even more on this

I'm certainly not an LoL god but I stream my team games and our ADCs are quite good (gold & plat.) I find I improve most watching better players than me. You also might find my commentary useful for tactics/team fighting.

I'd love to watch your replays but op.gg always bombs out on me when I try to watch their replays (and no I'm not going to try and reinstall league to fix it.)

If you enjoy playing ADC, you're going to notice that if you don't get those CS in the mid and late game, you will be outscaled significantly by the other team's damage dealers. After the laning phase, grouping with your team is a good idea, but the truth is you are still required to look at gaining advantages over the opposing team with objectives (killing towers, securing dragons, denying blue/red buffs, and killing baron). As an ADC, it's important to kill your tower and then rotate to other lanes to help them push theirs down as well. To get these objectives, you need to have proper lane control, which means that someone needs to be in those side lanes to push them out past the river into your enemy's territory. Grabbing a wave or two of CS, then returning to mid lane or moving to secure an objective is perfectly acceptable. There is nothing more unacceptable than letting a big minion wave pile up and die against your tower. All of that gold and all of that experience just goes to waste. And it's especially unacceptable when that wave takes down your tower without being contested. I will always just ping at the minion wave I am going to push out to let my team know before I head down.

If your team cannot do simple math, it's not your fault that they engage the enemy in a fight when they are outnumbered because the side waves need to be pushed out. When that happens to me, I type something quick like "please don't engage in a team fight when we aren't all grouped" and then try to make myself available for the next one. But unless you communicate to your team, sometimes they will be so tunnel visioned on trying to kill the enemy team that they don't pay attention to the periphery (especially at low silver/high bronze). Map awareness is one of the key factors as to why people are at that level to begin with.

Team fights are important, but knowing when to initiate a team fight and when to avoid them is key to climbing the ladder. Needlessly jumping in on the enemy team without a clear focus on obtaining an objective is reckless. Trading kills in mid lane does not help you win the game. Towers help you do that. Make sure that when you are fighting that you have an idea what objective you can take after you kill one or two of their team, especially if you can eliminate one or two of their damage carries. If Dragon was just killed and you only have Tier 2 or Inhibitor Turrets to mount an assault on, killing a wave or two of minions to start pushing toward the tower (provided you have proper wards to keep yourself safe) is perfectly acceptable. Take your time, build your advantage, and get your items. Two waves of minions is almost as much gold as a full kill. Always keep your CS in mind and you will do well.

Good luck on your climb.
