MasterYi I have been playing League of Legends for about 2 weeks and recently started using Master Yi but I need a little help on how to use him more efficiently at the beginning of a match. Plus I will like to know the best way to level him up faster or how you guys do it.

You've been playing for 2 weeks? Idk how much IP you need but save roughly about 12,000 - 16,000 so that you can buy tier 3 runes at level 20.

Personally I'd say drop him and move onto more mechanically impressive champions such as LeeSin (Just kidding)

If you're in lane, you pretty much just want to be in lane and killing minions before the enemy shows up, but do remember to leash your jungler if needed. He really isn't a dangerous threat until about level 5 and onwards, I recommend buying a brutalizer as soon as possible to build it into youmuus.

I use attack speed quints and marks, armor yellows, scaling MR blues. you absolutely need attack speed to refresh your Q cooldown, which is your main clear speed at low levels.

if u want to lvl him up fst u just need this: 1:last hit minions 2:make a kill 3:stay longer in lane and fights

and i noticed sometimes when i play solo top against duo top you gain xp faster. HOPE IT HELP...:)

I use Yi as a jungler. Just stay in jungle as long as you can. Get your jungle item to get an extra 30G from large minion kills as soon as possible. Stay in jungle until level 6, as you are mostly useless until then, unless absolutely necessary To defend a tower.

When in the jungler, try to gank every once in awhile.

But here's a warning. I remember when I was a noob and got curbstomped by Yi every game. Then I learned proper positioning, warding, and how to counter him. Now, even at my low tier of play, I haven't see a Master Yi I couldn't handle. Don't let him be a crutch, make sure you can play other champions because eventually his kit is going to get outdated. He can deal damage and he can heal, but he has no decent cc. For non-carries, that is a weakness.
