Shyvanna Jungle items?

I always pick up a trailblazer for farming first, then get boots, rush devourer, get Ninja Tabs or Mercs, get BOTRK, Tri-Force, then build situationally. I usually just get a Hydra and a Tank item. I'm usually pretty successful with this build, but I'm not sure if I'm building her to her full potential I should probably get a stalkers blade for the slow because of the horrible lack of CC but the early farming power from Trailblazers is pretty useful too.

PS: Is Wit's end a viable option on Shyv?

I'm not by any means a high elo player, but I've been jungling Shyvana on and off since mid-Season 3. I guess, I'll just comment in order as you wrote.

Jungle Itemization I'll start with the jungle items. To be honest, 9 times out of 10 you're going to be building either Stalker's Blade or Skirmisher's and which one you get is pretty much determined by whether or not you can make good use of Skirmisher's against the enemy team. Tired of Rengar running in and out of bushes? Pick it Skirmisher's. Can't really stick to the enemy team to make use of it because of high mobility? Stalker's might be better. I don't think Trailblazer is a bad item on anyone (despite recent nerfs), but rather I don't think it's really needed in this case. Shyv has amazing clear times, and can stay pretty healthy in the jungle past really early. Sure your first clear hurts, but that's with almost everyone. I started taking 9-21 instead of 21-9 and noticed a pretty nice diff. Blue side, smiteless on krugs and use your smite on red early to get your hp back. Pop a pot on krug if need be. Purple side, start toad (smite this or blue early up to you), blue, wolves, then smite red (should be back up in time). If red is down, smite krugs and clear np. Poacher's is almost always a waste of gold (unless you're Nunu or Shaco).

Devourer is perf. Stack it and make them cry.

Full Itemization First Priority is getting the gold for your devourer enchant. The sooner you can stack, the better. Tabi or Mercs, is up to you. If you go Mercs, shoot for Wraith Elixer later on for sustain since you already have some tenacity (sure it stacks, but do you reeeally need it?) If tabi, grab Iron Elixer. I usually rush botrk second item because 1) sustain, slow, synergizes with your q, and 2) Between this and devourer that's usually all the dmg you need to make people cry. After these two items, go ahead and tank up. Sunfire is ideal for the dmg, kit synergy, jungle clear, split push strength, and nice stats. If AP champs are the issue atm, grab giant's belt over armor, otherwise just grab whichever you can afford. After that, grab SV. Usually you want this because it's another sustain boost on top of nice stats. Last item is player's preference. You can grab another tank item like thornmail or warmogs (or more armor/mr), or you can pick up some cool damages. I usually go triforce. You could couuuuld build raw dmg, but it's much more fun to laugh in their faces as they struggle to kill you in all your tanky glory, then roar just cuz dragon form. After all, you can melt just about anyone with a stacked devourer's and botrk alone. (Also, dying fast is no fun ;-;)

Shyvana CC MIA QQ True, Shyvana lies within the realm of the easily kited, and it can suck balls sometimes. If you're against a team where you think it'll be a big issue, grabbing Stalker's is A Okay. You'll also have botrk passive. Personally, I take exhaust over flash and use that to make ganks 1000 million times more effective, and just use my ult to close gaps. Also comes in handy for lategame team fights and jungle wars. Good thing you can farm it back, huh?

Wit's End This will forever be a strong item on Shyvana. The thing is, it's mainly a source of atkspd, and you already have two of those items in the build (devourer enchant and botrk). If you're okay with sacrificing the active and sustain from botrk, then sure. Otherwise, save it for the Top lane Shyv mains.

Hope this helps.

Build 1 damage item between item 3074 item 3153 Then build full tank Shy is good because of her high damage and defense

Start your match right. AS quints, AD marks, armor seals, MR/level glyphs. If you know you're going to need to be playing a bit more defensively, take the 9/21/0 masteries. If you know you can safely go for a more offensive gameplan, go 21/9/0.

You want Skirmisher's Saber if you know you're going to be getting into a lot of duels. Even though the true damage is now just a burn that refreshes with every hit instead, the 20% damage reduction is wonderful for those 6 seconds, and Shyvana needs to be right on top of someone for about that long early to get kills and assists. If you're up against a heavy disengage team, take Stalker's Blade for the slowing Smite. If you're up against a powerfarming jungler, take Poacher's Knife to help your counterjungling potential. Once she has all three of her basic abilities up she can actually clear a camp pretty quickly, and that just gets faster with more ranks in W. Devourer pretty much always. No reason not to, it gives her amazing scaling damage that can make her a lategame monster even with minimal damage itemization.

Shyvana has two mainstay damage items. If you're aiming to be more of a single target fighter, an early BotRK is the way to go. It also applies a powerful movement stealing active, which can help her stick to targets. If you're going for something a bit burstier and more oriented around sitting in teamfights causing some problems, build a Ravenous Hydra first instead. It'll also help her to clear camps quicker and push lanes quicker, which means that you're generally going to want Hydra if you plan to build as an offtank since it can still provide significant burst by using it inbetween AAs.

After that you're going to want to pick up at least a Giant's Belt and then Warden's Mail and a primary MR item. I LOVE Shyvana, she was the champion I used to learn both top and jungle, so I've actually found that for me a Hexdrinker works great as a midway MR item that also provides a nifty shield. Saved my ass plenty. Go back and finish the Randuin's Omen and, if you don't need more MR yet, build either another damage item (usually whichever of the first two you didn't build first) if you're doing well and your team is ahead or another tank item if not.

Aside from boots, her jungler item, a Hydra/Botrk, Randuin's Omen (which I'd argue is a necessity in any build for her), the other two items are pretty much situational. I personally go with a Maw of Malmortius for the MR item and then either Warmog's Armor or a Frozen Mallet for her final items since at that point she's got a considerable amount of armor/MR already, especially with her ult up, and a Frozen Mallet actually lets her apply the slow to everyone she can hit while using her dragon form's Q.

If you've been powerfarming that Devourer's enchant, you can safely drop one of your damage items to go straight tank after the initial one. If you plan to focus on this route definitely take the Hydra as your only offensive item.

Shyvana's sort of like a slightly less tanky Vi. She can be played all along the scale of fighter to tank, so learn how to use her when and where.

item 3710 item 3074 are both must have items for jungling as Shyvana. They should be your first two items period! Hydra being second. You want devourer first for gold income, and hydra second for fast and easy jungle clear. The number one rule of jungling is this, "Do not spend too much time in the jungle!" After you get those two items clearing the jungle is easy, any other items you get you should get for fighting other players and not jungling because once you are out of the jungle it is the players you will be fighting.
