Shutting down Riven?

Many people don't understand how you shut down Riven. I'm no where near super intelligent of this game, but over my time playing on the Rift I have picked up some knowledge; particularly about Riven. I mained Riven all the way up to Season 5's beginning. So let's see here...

Laning Phase: Riven excels at pushing her opponent out of lane with low cool downs and early power spikes. Her Stun is great for setting up ganks from her jungler/mid and her Q + E make for a hasty escape. There's just one problem with her: she can't catch up when pushed back.

The simplest and most brain dead way of beating her is doing nothing yourself as a top laner. Have your jungler show presence in lane, come for some ganks. Either secure the kill or use it as a trade. As long as you don't trade that for an objective, it's a win-win. You gain lane control and still can contest objectives.

Mid-Game: Say Riven went even in lane, so she hits somewhat hard yet not completely deleting people. Any type of CC will subdue her, allowing you to follow in for the kill.

OP af Riven: Riven went 23/0 in lane. 200 farm by 21 minutes. She's a monster.

HA! Morgana bind. Lissandra Ult. Braum Ult. ANY type of hard CC will stop her cold, letting you knock her down.

Just because someone is fed, doesn't mean you can't kill them. Synergize ults and combos and you are unbeatable (Unless they out perform you. :D )
