Gold to Silver need tips

After climbing from bronze 2 to Gold 5 this season I was pretty happy with my progress. At one point was at a 53 per cent win pct. And then...a 17 game losing streak I kid you not. Was demoted to Silver 1 and am now sitting in Silver 3 since my mmr was crushed. Same thing happened to me last season as well. Now I could ramble about how horrific my teams were and boy were they ever but I share some of the blame. Anyone else have a slump like that? I feel like unless I hard carry (check my nasus stats) I will lose. What can I do to improve, any tips. I think my big problem is playing too many champions and all of the roles instead of focusing on a few. And BTW I really don't like playing nasus but I like winning so I feel like I am stuck.

Dominate bot or mid lane.

I had the same exact problem, like a week ago. I was gold 5, and had been for awhile. Teams were shity, tbh. I won my lane, got good cs, kept tabs on dragon, etc, upgraded trinket, warded, etc. But no matter what, I lost. I went on a loss spree as well, and I can't help but think the losses were still my fault. I'm now silver 2, 11 lp. I lose more LP than I get. It's horrible. My MMR is shiiittttt. I have 20 more losses than wins.

I feel you. And now that I'm at such a different ELO, I see a lot of mistakes that my team makes and it makes me cringe. I main mid though.

I guess carrying is different for every role. Like, Mid, you can roam and get your team kills. But if your ADC you wanna focus on CS and stuff..

But I think a good way to improve is having a positive attitude even while losing, make sure to keep tabs on enemy and your own jungler. CS well. Poke AS you CS. If you're going to kill two minions with a skill shot and the enemy is also by those minions you can poke them and get the cs. Ya know? Upgrade trinket. Always. I usually go to a free pink ward. For mid, i put it in the bushes near drag.

The list goes on. Hmmm..
