How to play against fed/late game Vladimir?

Hi there,

I'm wondering what should we do against a vlad? Don't just tell me to focus on his early game, because if the game runs 30 min+ he's gonna get to lategame at some point. So, how to deal with him and his troll pool? Do I not focus him? Do I put all my CC on him? What to do?

What are his weaknesses? MR doesn't seem to do much and he keeps healing himself even through ignite... plus his combo can destroy my adcs and then lets him use the pool to get away with it. I don't know, I just don't find an answer right now other than finish early.

Thanks.

Ok, hopefully you aren't the ADC trying to 1v1 a late game Vlad... because... ya, no.

If you're talking about team fighting watch your positioning - if he's getting everyone with his abilities you have position problems, work on that.

You can't do much with a late game item packed vladimir and that's exactly why you don't let him farm up. At lategame where he spams his stuff with 30% cdr and 600 ap not much you can do.

Not much you can do sadly, Vlad is similar to Vanye where if he/she is fed or reaches late game, they will basically carry the team to victory. Vlad by not dying and ulting everyone and watching as you all die due to increased damage, or Vanye by literally 3 shotting everyone and being able to escape with ease unless killed in 1 second during which must be cced.

The issue is if your let an early game vlad that lost lane get to 30 min plus it has to do with positioning, general game knowledge, skill and teamwork. If Vlad lost lane and did his best to not feed and farm, while team fighting and his team works with his ult dmg amp and kitting out fights. If you let vlad get to his full build end game it has to take some serious outplay on your part and teams part to win, or the vlad misplays hard like not face rolling his keyboard late game. Which is his reward imo for making it there which is his the ability to slaughter 1v5 to start engages and his team mop up the carnage.

You don't really. He's one of those guys who really thrives late game, and between his tankiness, troll pool, and item 3157, you really don't ever get a chance to actually kill him during a teamfight. Best thing to do is try to kill his teammates as fast as possible so then your team can 5v1 him like the raidboss he is.
