Nocturne or Maokai?

Maokai can go top and jungle, and fits better with the tank/cinderhulk meta. Nocturne is a good jungler as well, but doesn't fit in too well, good if you play him right though. I'd say Nocturne, but that'd be biased.

I'd agree with mystery for the fact that Nocturne could be good if you played him right. Also, is more of a top laner than a jungler, so thats another thing. I would personally go though just because of his teamfight.

Nocturne is good right now. He can countergank easily at 6 and bring a free BF sword + recurve bow worth of steroids at level 9. His sustain problems are easily solved by ranger's trailblazer, although that does mean you have to give up blue smite.

Maokai Is much much stronger than Nocturne. Nocturne has not been in the best spot since S2. He is viable yes, but not nearly as viable as other options out there. In this tank meta Noc does not fair well.
