How to end games?

I got placed in Silver V, I climbed to Silver III 70LP with only losing 2 games. Since then I have gotten demoted to silver IV 0LP. 80% of these games, we could have won at some point. The last game I had, I was playing Azir, we got their inhibitor and had baron but the question I have is, how do I get my team to end. This has been the cause of so many losses because we lose focus and give up major objectives. I'm not trying to make one of those "my teams are shit" posts, because I'm sure I'm part of the problem.

Only analyzing the game you mentioned. So you have inhib and baron. Now the question is what do I do? You have a bunch of tools since your team controls the game but two popular choices are 1: Get the lane that has the inhib down into a positions that the other team has to respond with in about 20 seconds. Meaning don't push it to their base but get it to about first/2nd tier mid lane then rotate all 5 members to another lane. They will have to send a person to respond to the super minions giving you a 4/5 on a tower which you can dive or zone them off so you and the adc can take it And the inhib. 2: same thing about the minion wave but send your strongest player, one that can 1v1 ez, to one of the lanes and the other 4 to another. Essentially splitting the their team up into a 1v1, 3v4, and 1 vs the supers. The 3v4 should have no trouble taking a tower allowing them to rotate to the split push and take theirs.

Well, I'll tell you a problem I notice a lot in Low Elo play. By Low Elo I mean anything below Diamond V, and even they sometimes make this common mistake.

You know, the typical phrase... "All Mid" and that is actually not always the best option. If you have super minions in mid (or any lane) you have to play around that lane and get some form of objective with them.

If you have super minions in mid, then push bot. Wait for the Mid wave to draw someone from the enemy team to defend, and then force the bot or top tower. From there it's usually easy to rotate for a Dragon or Baron, or if you are confident enough, to dive.

Many teams grow impatient and try to dive towers w/o lane pressure elsewhere, or want to hard push a lane that already has super minions and don't take advantage of the map control they give.

tl;dr - Nex time someone says "All Mid" if you have super minions there, push a different lane, as a team.
