Stuck With an Unreasonably Low MMR, Unsure of What to Do

So for my placement matches, I ended up with 5 wins and 5 losses at the end of it, which I was excited about, and I was placed in Silver IV. For my first 6 ranked games after placement, I lost all of them, sometimes due to teammates blatantly feeding or just simply not seeming to know how to play. As a result, I have about a 32% winrate in ranked, so I'm getting pretty bad LP gains and major losses, due to my MMR. I'm not sure how I can raise my MMR, because my performance in ranked games is often pretty good compared to the rest of players, and my team often seems to have people who end up feeding. Is there any way I can try to raise my MMR so the LP system works in my favor?

Win more games! Doesn't matter how well you lane or team fight or whatever if you can't destroy the enemy nexus. Win games to raise mmr.

I feel you though sir! I'm stuck as well. Feels like I become a 4v5 magnet as soon as I get any kind of win streak going this season.

Win games. My MMR sucks right now, too, because I was playing champs that I shouldn't. I've won 13 of my last 17 games (and 11 of my last 12), but I'm gaining LP very slowly. Once you get to about a 50% win rate, your MMR will be higher and you'll start to gain more.

elo/mmr is flawed for solo que. its good for derterming the skill of a unit. a 3v team, 5v team single person. but it falls horribly short for basing your performance on a group of indviduals. it really needs to be modified or changed

so you've only played 16 games? Keep playing, eventually you're rank will start to balance out. Once you play 100 games you'll be pretty close to where you belong.
