Yasuo focused composition

So I'm still fairly new, but I've tried out various comps. The biggest flop I've experienced though is one that builds upon the Cloud & Blademaster combo, using Yasuo as the centerpiece. I've always felt like he was just a waste of space. I've also never seen anyone else have much success with him.

I'm not saying that it's weak. I'm asking how one might have success with it. Help :(

I've found Yasuo to be pretty useless too. Really needs to be stacked with items so that his ult can actually take out the enemy carry.

However if you're running Blademasters then you'll get much better value out of stacking a Sivir or Nocturne so Yasuo should pretty much just be used for his bonuses which are essential to the build.

Cloud blademaster also comes online more into the mid game so don't try to transition into it early, go for something like Woodland so that you don't lose too much health early.

to be honest he is weak, you should center around Sivir tbh let yasuo be a dodge tank tho.

The best result I did got with Yasuo is when I was able to turn him with Berserker buff, BT and guisnoo. Still it was too much investment for allowing him to carry. The team was around Cloud/Blademaster/Berserker.

The only times i had succes with yasuo as carry was in earth elemental games. Ideally you get yasuo with a belt or recurve right from the start, or another unit holding that item and find yasuo in the early rounds. Now all he has to do is stack up some nice HP and you slap some titanic hydra onto him, ideally 2hydras and later into the game(after raprtors, or if you're healthy enough, even later) you want to move him off the elemental field and add a warmongs. Though there are other options, Hurricane synergieses well with hydra, and getting PD if you struggle vs crit users or Iceborn/FH for some overall tankiness do work aswell if you can't find enough belts. Spear also is a 3ed item option to get those ults going. The main issue of yasuo is that he either doesn't do that much damage, or he dies to quickly. With the mountain hp stacking, he usually gets beefy enough, and with titanic+bladmaster and his ult, he still does the needed damage. Obviously you want him to reach lvl 3, so you can't really aim for lvl 9, if you don't have a good start you might even have to choose between lvl 8 and a somewhat realistic chance of 3 stars.

The only other built i can imagin is with either cloud quiana or cloud lux, giveing him IE, BT and Quicksilver. That's certainly enough damage, some sustain, the much needed CC immunity, 50 mr, which together with the mystik bonus(usually you automatically get that with janna+yi) is quite alot mr, and +40% dodge so he theoretically should not die to easily. If you already have quiana, you might try yomuus instead of IE, though unless yout get to lvl 9, fitting 6 assasins into the comp is rather difficult and the assasin 3 bonus is MUCH weaker that IE.

But usually he works better as supportive champ, either left alone, doing some damage and haveing a nice CC onto a priority target while you ivnest your resources elsewhere, or you give him tank gear. Iceborn is great cause of the synergie with the cloud dodge, warmongs can be good unless to much opponents have GW, Swordbreaker and hush are great, he basically perma CCs an priority target useing those with his ult.
Though frankly, sivir is a better user as she can apply them multiple targets, so in a blademaster comp you usually give them to her.

Yas has to be 3* but if you put item 3161 item 3072 and dragon nail on him he's virtually unkillable with cloud and mystic/blademaster while also clearing the board in order from strongest enemies to weakest with his ult.

9 units would be: 2 cloud, 4 mystic, 4 blademasters Yasuo Janna MasterYi Nami Soraka Aatrox Sivir with a desert on alternate and cloud or ocean lux ideally.

Well, if you build cloud & blademaster, the centerpiece is usually Sivir. Cause most champs in this comp deal physical damage, you will need 4 deserts, and if you build em, sivir with 2 dmg items and swordbreaker/hush can carry you even to the 1st place.

If u try using Yasuo as a main carry, try mana spear, bloodthirster and firecannon. With that build he can cast very frequently and constantly heal from his ability. An interesting way is making him assassin/berserker if you have other champs of these classes. But I didn't make much from it in my games.

To my mind, Yasuo is not a main carry in TFT unless you make him gold. But I may be mistaken
