TFT Suggestion: Selected Champion Pool

Hi there,

With the increasing number of different champions, the game may be facing the issue that it will be more and more difficult to upgrade the champion you have selected in your composition to rank 2/3 since the pool will be too large.

I have a simple idea of how to solve this issue while adding more fun to the game once lets say 70+ champs are released:

At the beginning of each game, only 50-60 random champs out of the entire champ pool would be available and the other discarded. However, these champions would be selected with the criteria that it should always be possible to reach the origin and classes to their maximum bonus (It means at least 6 nobles, 4 wild, 6 assassins... etc.)

By doing that, there would be far more diversity of champion composition because a top tier comp would not be available every game or players may not know it is until late game. Players will have to analize thoughout the game which comp and which champ from the pool are available and establish strategy or take risk. I let you think about it :).

As an example, if in the future there are 9 different noble champions released, that the 6 nobles selected for a specific game are all worth 1-3 gold, a player could try to quickly maximize the noble bonus to obtain a huge early advantage. But gg wp to him if he was able to analyze that or took the risk to do it. As a counter example, if 2 of the 6 selected nobles are legendary (5 gold), a player could loose due to being unable to complete the bonus.

Well ty if you read that suggestion and hope you like it. It just got in my mind and I though it would add more fun, diversity and strategy to the game while solve the issue of a too big champion pool.

Uhm, wasn't this the plan all along? There will never be 70+ champions in the game, because Riot will rotate them. However they will do it manually and take out all nobles or something like that, so you don't have half-done synergies.

Making it random without somehow conveying this information to the players would be a bad move. You claim it would bring diversity and reward adaptive players, but to adapt to something, you need to know what's coming.

They aren't going to go over 60 champs.

After the split ends, they will swap out the current champ sets to another set of champs/skin lines, this will help them introduce different origins/classes even for the same champions.

E.g. Cutpurse TF is currently set as a Pirate/Sorcerer using Pick a Card . If they used Musketeer TF instead, then you probably would get a Noble/Ranger using his E and will be manaless.
