What I've Found to be Unbalanced
To quote another user:
I just want to preface this post by saying that in 8 years of playing this game, I have never once complained about balancing. Sure there have been champions that I thought were OP, but never so much so that I was unable to play the game anymore.
The TFT meta is actually awful. Over half the comps are unplayable because they just can't match up against the good comps. I personally don't really want to play TFT anymore because I don't really enjoy being forced to play the same 2-3 comps every match.
This game is very unbalanced and the devs should focus more on good gameplay instead of continuously added content to keep the game relevant (just look at Overwatch and how badly that game bombed when they did this)
That being said here's why I think this:
-
Demons they can be really good or really bad. They're good against 1-3 very specific teams and just a waste of slots against every other team (specifically thinking, good against nobles & shapeshifters, bad against most other comps.) We'll get to how un-fun swain is later.
-
Nobles -Early Game: Vayne: needs attack speed items but is still pretty bad, Fiora: just bad unless she's level 2 and then she's still bad but a better damage sponge, Garen: good with another knight and for frontline-ing (a pretty good unit), Lucian: is good but only with at least 1 item (similar to vayne), Leona: low chance of getting her, good but not great without another guardian, Kayle: no way you're getting her early -Mid Game: You now have 3 nobles on board for the buff but you have to waste spots in your bench holding the other nobles until they're either level two or you get that second guardian so you can put leona in (you're still probably holding fiora and a bunch of level one units on your bench) -Late Game: If you've gotten a kayle you've probably won, unless the enemy is play glacials or heavy cc/burst
-
Glacials -If they have glacials you've probably lost no matter what team you have. One of two things are going to happen: 1. Your team is frozen the whole fight and you get the wonderful (<-sarcasm) experience of sitting back and watching your extremely powerful team do nothing as they die 2. You burst them down and if by some heaven-sent luck your burst champions don't get frozen you need to kill them before the fight drags on or outcome #1 happens. -This is very poor design since there is no counter to being frozen and it completely takes control away from the player
-
Two demons in particular -Swain - This one unit will single-handedly win you the game. He's almost guaranteed to get 2 ults off in a round (unless you kill him before his first ult) and if you give him a gunblade or dragon's tooth you're not going to kill him. -Evelynn - She can one-shot most level 1 units, take half the health of level 2 units, and she has an escape AND de-aggro (for those of you that don't know what this means, it means the enemies stop targeting her) every time she ults... oh and she's also a demon so she's going to be mana-burning and damaging the unit trying to kill her. I can't fathom what the devs were thinking giving a champion an execute and extra damage on autos.

While we're talking about unbalanced units -have any of you actually seen a pantheon die? (excluding the times when he's solo or surrounded) It's very easy to get him dragon buff or any of the tank items and make him mostly unkillable. -level 2 kayle, can we please just increase the shield duration instead of making the 2 most focused units unabled to die.

Wild is bad in almost every situation, Same with 4 ninja's because they have terrible composition synergy
There's many more un-balanced things like items dropping from the first minion round, etc. but I think I've made my point. The strongest comps are un-fun, there's many weak types/traits. [zombie-brand-clap]
