An (hopefully) objective look at Senna right now

So firstly I'd like to make a couple things clear. I have not recently lost to Senna and posting this as a rant, and I'm also only a silver 1 player so I may not know what I'm talking about.

Now with that out of the way lets get into it.

So originally when Senna first came out I thought she was a little weak; but after having played about 15-20 games on her I've realized that she is actually a bit too strong at the moment.

Here's my thoughts on her abilities and some suggestions of how they could be nerfed (NOTE: I'm not saying all of them should be nerfed, just giving ideas on how each of them could be nerfed if riot wants to nerf them):

Passive - I think her passive is fine, it mainly just reshuffles her stats and gives her a bit of scaling

Q - Probably her most powerful tool and it should stay that way. BUT... it is a bit too strong atm. I think the best way to fix it would probably be to remove the AD scaling on the heal and maybe give +10-15% on the ap scaling. This way it prevents her from building full dmg while still having a very strong heal for herself and her allies.

W - I think the root isn't too overpowered right now but it does have a few issues.

  • Firstly, mainly visually, it often seems to hit just at the very tip when you are expecting it to fizzle out or to clearly be traveling past you and latches onto you. So to fix this they could make the graphic slightly larger to better represent the danger zone (taking into account the average size of a player's hitbox, meaning that the visual should be the width of itself + 1/2 of an average hitbox's size). Or they could just reduce the hitbox size.
  • Secondly, if it is going to be nerfed I suggest keeping the root time and damage the same but reducing the root's radius by 25-30%. It takes up a good portion of the width of a lane and often times when playing against her I have to walk back into the enemy to prevent an ally getting rooted (I'm a support main fyi)

E - Perfectly fine as it doesn't have any damage output and since it's pure utility I don't think this one should be changed at all. However if it really does need to be nerfed... possibly show the allies as wraiths whether they're in the cloaking ring or not. This makes it a LOT less powerful but it still prevents the enemy from knowing exactly who is in the ring.

R - Doesn't seem to be overpowered to me but if it is too strong just lower the damage scaling at lower levels but keep it the same at max levels.

Anyways those are my thoughts and feel free to point out something I may have overlooked. -Graven Senna
