11 win streak and then 4 loss streak = dead

This isn't a complaint thread, it's a question thread.

I started out with an extremely lucky 5 item drop from the first 3 PVE rounds and then had many subsequent item drops after that. Wound up with an assassin and ninja comp, lvl 3 Zed and kennan, lvl 2 akali and Shen. Lvl 3 Lulu and a lvl 2 Blitzcrank. Rotating cast of whatever level 1 yordles fit at the time.

Went 11-0, than 0-4 and lost. My questions is this:

I went balls to the wall spending in this game, taking advantage of my fortuitous start and in my mind ramping the pressure up on my opponents. It worked like a charm the first 11 games then completely fell apart against someone with less weapons but who played more conservatively with his money and probably more skillfully with his comp (I'm new to this and don't know which comps counter what.

Is it better to press your advantage if you get good item RNG in the beginning or is it better to lay back and let the items do most of the work while saving cash early and mid game?

Push for win leads since you get extra gold for win streaks

But

You want to save as much gold as possible since ever 10 gold gives you +1 income.(max +5)

You get the same gold for loss streaks too though, right?

Most of the time, the game punishes you for a win streak. Carousel, item drops, champs, etc. The only way you will win is through rng luck.

It's better to lose early and then come back after the item rounds.

So it really depends on what you see early, how comfortable you are with transitions, how strong your likelihood of 3 starring a carry etc.

When I have a strong early game item advantage I try to build to the +3 winstreak as well as hit the +5 economy from having 50 gold in the bank.(So you are making 14 gold per round allowing you to surpass other players in both level as well as champion/composition power.) In a normal game I like to hit 50 gold around Stage 3-3. When I am playing with a strong early lead I usually hit it at 4-1 but I have more gold in EXP, my team, and my champions when this occurs.
