TFT overlay

as i;m sure many of us know , there is a TFT overlay out and it sounds incredible. i have heard that many players use this overlay , and i have heard great things about it. currently i just use a " cheat sheet " on my second monitor that shows me the item combinations , champions & their types as well as the odds of champion tier drops per level. this obviously i know is fine , as its me just having up a picture in google crome on my second monitor. but it does get abit annoying when i need to re find send image with an updated version every time the point of all this is , is the new TFT overlay allowed? can we be banned for using a TFT overlay? i would really like riots input on this , i know they where tolerable of things like custom cosmetic HUDS , custom skins & maps back in the day until they "inadvertently " made them all impossible. but what is their stance on overlays? especially this one which i have heard is quite expansive.

I'm pretty sure it's fine, from what I understand it's just basically a cheatsheet in the form of an overlay. Nothing wrong with overlays as they don't interfere with the game but again, third party programs come with a risk so up to you. Riot more than likely will not provide insight on this.

I would refrain from using it until Riot itself goes public and make a statement about it somewhere. I know some people in the comments might say, in good faith, that it's fine, but that's just their personal judgement and interpretation. If Riot bans you, they're not held responsible, so... I would just refrain from doing it, tbh.

Besides, memorizing the items and traits isn't that hard once you play like 30+ games. I mean, I know all the items and how to make them and all the traits by heart, at this point, but again, I've been grinding ranked and I'm Plat 2 (100+ games), so maybe you are less experienced than me, which is understandable. Just play more and you'll get the hang of it eventually, trust me. This is coming from someone who can barely remember his phone number (that's how easy it will be to memorize everything).
