I'm wondering if they are trying to decide to give silver players something since they added another tier. it is kinda sad that in their 10th anniversary they haven't said what the season ending rewards are.. I'm gold anyway, but I want to know if it's even worth trying to get to plat at the end, other than to completely avoid silver next season all together

You already know. Some skin for a champion you probably don't even play that was in every LCS game, a border and a ward.

I thought the jackets stopped a year or two ago due to issues.. I'm not challenger so not sure though..

Pretty sure they stopped physical merchandise altogether because what ends up happening is that 1 person gets multiple accounts in Challenger and thus gets more copies of the items, so they just sell them online for a ton of cash.

Why exactly does Riot care what people do with their rewards? Isn't part of something being a reward that you now own it and can do what you want?

Not really expecting an answer here, just a mini vent because its another situation with a company determining what someone should be able to do.

I think it's more supposed to be that the jacket/backpacks are supposed to be for those who deserve it, and when they just sell the extras then they go to those who don't actually deserve them. I suppose it's like giving someone an expensive/thought-out gift, then seeing them pawn it off without talking to you first.

I think it is the same as the other seasons of LoL. Skin, chroma, border, icon. You may get an arena chroma, though. So I think it's not going to be worth it that much.

Sure, but if it's a skin/chroma I'm not even interested in (for example) then it's a waste of time for me to grind to a higher tier.
